Reddit - Picasso 2

This is my second attempt to do Picasso theme for Reddit Daily Sketch.
It was surprisingly difficult to draw one of Picasso's painting.  wow, so much design in his seemingly simple painting.

Reddit - Frustration

Frustration - when no matter how much you draw yourself, your self portrait still doesn't look like you. (in this particular drawing my nose should be smaller).

Harrington challenge

I did a challenge for The Elements of Composition for Illustrators on I thought about what kind of person Harrington might be based on a type Harrington.
I think that Harrington is a young woman, who lives in late 19 century - early 20 century, who likes to flirt, who is a bit childish, likes roses.
I didn't have time to sketch her. But I searched the internet and found out some shoes that my heroine might wear. So I sketched them.
I liked the assignment, it was fun!

IF: Harvest 2 (Turnip)

This is an illustration to a Russian Folktale about Turnip. The granddad, granny, granddaughter, dog, cat, and mouse are trying to pull out a huge turnip. I just realized that this folktale is essentially about Harvest!
It was fun to draw :)
